Sparkling Wine Production Methods
- Traditional method (also known as méthode champenoise): the secondary fermentation that transforms the base wine into sparkling wine takes place in bottles.
- Tank method (also known as the Charmat method): the secondary fermentation takes place in large tanks; only the finished sparkling wine is bottled.
All Bjana sparkling wines are made using the traditional method.
